Current Industrial Landscape of Pressure Vessels in China
Maintenance of Pressure Vessels

Pressure vessels play a crucial role in the chemical industry, but they often face challenges such as enamel coating damage caused by factors like media corrosion and variable reaction conditions. This damage can lead to production interruptions. When the enamel coating is severely compromised, the pressure vessel typically undergoes a process of being returned to the depot for reapplication of a new enamel coating. Considering the high cost involved, it is generally impractical to replace a pressure vessel solely due to minor coating damage.

In such situations, efficient surface repair methods become essential. Opting for the immediate application of JS916 for coating repair proves to be a prudent choice. This method not only prevents the corrosion of corrosive solvents within the equipment but also curtails the expansion of the damaged coating. Failure to address these issues promptly may result in serious consequences such as security incidents, environmental pollution, and production stoppages.

Practical Applications of Pressure Vessels

Pressure vessels, being a versatile and multidisciplinary product, find extensive use across various industries such as power, petroleum, and metallurgy. The fabrication process of pressure vessels is intricately linked to numerous sectors, including metallurgy, corrosion prevention, and Nondestructive Testing (NDT). Beyond their functional roles, pressure vessels serve as a significant symbol representing the manufacturing prowess of a country.

In industries like chemical production, essential equipment such as reactor units, heat exchangers, and separators falls under the category of pressure vessels. These vessels play a vital role in the manufacturing process, underlining their importance in ensuring the efficiency and reliability of industrial operations.

Increased Industrial Output Value of Pressure Vessels

Metal pressure vessels play a pivotal role in various industrial processes, and recent years have witnessed significant advancements in technologies such as metallurgy, Nondestructive Testing (NDT), and machining. The rapid development of information technology, particularly in the realm of computer techniques, has further propelled progress in related industries. Numerous countries, leveraging substantial manpower and material resources, have conducted in-depth studies leading to remarkable advancements in metal pressure vessel technologies.

The metal pressure vessel manufacturing industry, as a sub-industry within the petroleum and petrochemical equipment sectors, has demonstrated steady growth, often influenced by fluctuations in crude oil prices. According to relevant statistics, in 2010, China had 588 metal pressure vessel manufacturers with total assets amounting to 41,391,000,000 RMB. The sales revenue reached approximately 48,819,000,000 RMB, reflecting a notable year-on-year growth of 21.47%. The total profit also experienced a substantial year-on-year growth of 37.24%, reaching 41,391,000,000 RMB.

In response to the heightened competition in the metal pressure vessel industry, there has been a surge in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and capital operations among large enterprises. Chinese pressure vessel enterprises, recognizing the significance of industrial and market research, are increasingly focusing on in-depth studies of enterprise development trends and customer demands. Consequently, many prominent pressure vessel manufacturers in China have achieved success and gradually evolved into leading enterprises in the metal pressure vessel industry.
